Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Ovalto was born 17 years ago from my desire to reinvest the fruits of the sale of Foncia. Today, Ovalto is a diversified Group that continues to grow.

Ovalto has built up a strong real estate business, ranging from property ownership and development to management and ethical property trading, through acquisitions and creations. Paris La Défense Arena, Racing 92 and our vineyards have recently been joined by Agrovalto, our spearhead in the agricultural sector, opening up opportunities in the agri-food sector.

We have initiated a promising synergy between our latest acquisition, Lafon-Rochet, and Lilian Ladouys, thus confirming our roots in the Bordeaux region.

I have decided to entrust the reins of Racing 92 to Laurent Travers, who will become the Club’s Chief Executive Officer. I have every confidence in him to take his players to the heights of the TOP 14 and the Champion’s Cup. His first decision was to recruit an experienced coach, Stuart Lancaster, who is beginning to put his own stamp on his squad, successfully mixing players from our training centre with talent from other championships.

I always strived for each of these business activities to be guided by the triple objective of excellence, ethics and sustainability of a business heritage in total respect of each of these values. With a strong team unified around Olivier Froc, Chief Executive Officer, Ovalto is resolutely committed towards implementing a solid CSR strategy that is now essential. To speed up this transformation, I wanted to set up a CSR Department at Ovalto, which became operational at the beginning of 2024.

This triple foundation of values and this ambitious company development strategy contribute towards shaping the ethos of the Group in the same manner as the Racing 92 French Rugby Champions, who never fail to perform at the Paris La Défense Arena.

Ovalto is a family business that its founder, Jacky Lorenzetti, wanted to pass on early to his children, and they are now bare owners. Our concern is to ensure Ovalto’s future to project ourselves comfortably long term. Ovalto’s Supervisory Board defines the Group’s strategy and direction, which the Management Board (composed of Bathilde Lorenzetti, Manon Lorenzetti and myself) implements.

The Group’s main activities – real estate, wine production and agriculture, sport and events – are diversified and complementary. This distribution between activities with regular profitability and activities with long-term value enhancement helps the Group to weather crises and seize opportunities. These different areas are each run by loyal and committed leaders, most of whom have worked alongside Jacky Lorenzetti for 10 to 20 years.
